The Cub Scouts program aims to prepare youth to grow into self-reliant and dependable adults. Cub Scouts achieve this with a lineup of hands-on activities and adventures focused on:
- Character Development
- Spiritual Growth
- Good Citizenship
- Sportsmanship and Fitness
- Family Understanding
- Respectful Relationships
- Personal Achievement
- Friendly Service
- Fun and Adventure
- Preparation for Scouts BSA
Cub Scouts go through different age-based ranks. Each rank challenges youth to complete milestones tailored to their age groups. Learn more about the Cub Scouts advancement trail here. Cub Scouts Advancement Trail
Dens meet twice a month to work toward their rank advancement. Meeting time and day depends on the den. The pack meets on the third Thursday of the month, in addition to two monthly outdoor activities (hiking, fishing, service projects, etc.) generally on the second and last weekend of the month.
It is never too late! Kids can join the pack at any age/rank. On average, it only takes an investment of a few hours a month to yield memories and lessons that will last a lifetime.
Our Mission
The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
