This ministry formed after the dedication of our current church building. We offer tours to individuals or groups who express an interest in the history of the Magdalen parish, our church building and the plaza area, including the art, sculptures, and windows. We also share information about the background of our artists, how they were selected, and how the composition of both the new and the old work together to create our sacred space. Information about our Catholic faith is included too, as we have had several opportunities to provide tours for people of different faiths. We need trained docents to give these tours, which average about 20 minutes, depending on the interest and questions of those participating. A personal tour and written material are provided to anyone interested in joining our group.
