Have you ever wondered how the Holy Spirit has gifted you and how he is calling you to serve others as a missionary disciple? Called & Gifted introduces participants to the discernment process for identifying and effectively using their charisms. Each of us is blessed by the Holy Spirit with a gift mix of charisms (spiritual gifts). Effectively using charisms to serve others tends to occur naturally and brings joy to the one gifted. The Called & Gifted process is best suited for those at least 20 years old with a solid Catholic formation and a desire to grow as a missionary disciple.
How does Called & Gifted Work?
The Called & Gifted process consists of three phases:
Phase I – Introductory Workshop: An online inventory is completed by each participant before the first session. Participants learn about 23 of the most common charisms and begin to identify with their charisms as well as rule out those charisms they have not likely received. Each session includes prayer, a meal or snack, dynamic teaching led by a facilitator and small group discussion.
Phase II - Inventory: Each participant completes a gift mix interview with a trained Called & Gifted interviewer to “tease out” their charisms. Interviews are private and confidential, giving each participant an opportunity to ask questions and confirm their gift mix and how to best use the charisms they’ve been given.
Phase III – Discernment in Depth: Information related to using charisms and barriers that may impact charism effectiveness is presented by a facilitator. Discernment in Depth also gives each participant an opportunity to focus on and experiment using one of their possible charisms. Each session includes prayer, a meal or snack, facilitator-led teaching and small group discussion.

"God has determined, unless I interfere with His plan, that I should reach that which will be my greatest happiness. He looks on me individually, He calls me by my name, He knows what I can do, what I can best be, what is my greatest happiness, and He means to give it me." -St. John Henry Cardinal Newman
