Small Groups at Magdalen
Want to go deeper in your faith? Try a small group! At The Church of the Magdalen, our desire is that you feel welcome and at home. The best way to feel at home is to join one of our small groups. It’s a great opportunity to gather in a smaller setting outside of Mass in order to get to know others better and grow deeper in your faith. It's a new way you can live and share the abundant life of Christ with others. Here are some of our small group opportunities:
Dive into the virtues that made Father Kapaun a hero and a future saint. Kapaun’s Men’s small groups will help strengthen your mission as a Christian man, whether as a husband, father, leader, or friend.
Walking With Purpose is a women's Bible study aimed at a deeper encounter with the Lord and fellowship with the women in your small group.
Regnum Christi Magdalen Women’s Team
Regnum Christi is an ecclesial movement raised up by the Holy Spirit and approved by the Church to further its work of evangelization. It is a way to deepen your relationship with Christ and others. The Magdalen Serviam Team meets Monday afternoons.
Anxiety & Depression Support Group
Find hope, encouragement, techniques, and resources with parishioners who are journeying through and overcoming the same challenges. The Ávila Resilience Collaboration (ARC) meets on Mondays every other week from 6:30-8:30pm. Contact Bobbi Tewes at 480-202-6222 for more information or to sign up.
Dinner Club is a great way to get to know fellow parishioners and share in Christ's fellowship. Each individual/couple takes a turn hosting dinner, providing the main dish and the rest of the group brings the rest of the meal.
The Parish Book Program is designed to encourage parishioners to make spiritual reading a part of their lives, help parishioners explore the genius of Catholicism, and create small groups that form meaningful relationships with each other and with the Lord.
