On Monday, Feb. 2nd, MCS had their annual 1st-4th Grade Spelling Bee! Representing our class was Miss Annie and Mr. Hogan. Great job to both and we are so proud of you!
What We Are Learning:
- Math: Students will be wrapping up Topic 8 over Equivalent Fractions and Comparing Fractions this week! Students will have a review day/receive their study guides on Monday, but our test will not be until Wednesday. This gives the students 2 days to complete the study guide and to prepare well for the test!
- Religion: 4th Grade Blessed Palms Drive/Sacramentals/Burning Palms into ashes for Ash Wednesday! :)
- Social Studies: Students will be wrapping up the Midwest Region of the US this week. On Monday, students will have a review day to continue studying their states/capitals. On Tuesday, we will have our Midwest States/Capitals Test to wrap up our unit. Students have been preparing since the new year for this test and have many options on how to study…
- Flashcards
- Google Classroom/Slides interactive study guide
- MW states/capitals song on Google Classroom

A Few Reminders...

- Students are now allowed to bring water bottles that are stainless steel and they don't have to be necessarily clear. They are expected to ONLY have WATER inside of their bottle. Failure to abide by this rule will result in your child using only clear bottles for the remainder of the school year.
- Every day your child should bring back to school their agenda and their school computer fully charged.
- Please double check if your child has a pair of headphones at school! We utilize headphones many times throughout the week for Hallow or listening to a read aloud. Thank you so much!
